Default Getting the eibach kit -- some questions

1: trimming the 'shock bumper'. I've searched the forum for a few hours now and can't seem to find any detailed information about it.. what exactly is this, and is it absolutely required on a NA 06? I've seen posts where people haven't and never had a problem, and posts where people had to to avoid problems, and not a single post actually showing a picture of what this thing is. hah!

2: difficulty of this project? I have a buddy that swapped springs on a civic .. I suppose I can recruit him. Would love to get down and dirty with the car, but if this is something where a professional installation is required I'd rather not screw things up.

3: does the kit come with stickers for a huge gain in horsepower?

4: where'd you guys order from?

thanks.

tirerack.com has them at the moment for $232.
I'm still thinking about it.

BrianBrave had a post a while back that showed the 'bumper.'

When you put springs on your car you'll want to remove the shocks and pull the top off them, inside is a bumper, cut this at least what you lowered the car or even 1/2" more ! I also recommend Koni shocks your ride will be better than stock and adjustable !
