quick ? before i order my rims
quick ? before i order my rims
i guess this is more of just your opinion more than anything else. i'm going to be ordering rims. i think i've decided to just order the stock sizes or 18/19 combo to keep it simple, and tires cheaper for now and later. the rims i've chose have alot of size options. i was thinking about just going to 10 wide rear and putting some 275-285's on the back. thats my question. do i really need to go wider?
you see living in TX i don't need winter wheels, so when i pull off the stock, they won't go back on i'm sure of that unless something happens. my stock tires even though i've just crossed 27K still look like they did when i had 70mile when i bought the car new. i was thinking about just having the tires swaped over to the new rims instead of letting good tires dry rot in the garage. i could order i rear rim thats not that wide. Tirerack specs says the pilots will fit 8.5-10 rim. thats also got me thinking of maybe ordering the 10's and just have that stretch look until the rubber wears down more. i'm just looking at my options of saving a little here, and not letting good tires go to waste.
