Default Scared...eibach kit

O.K. I got my eibach kit in from Autobahn in Wichita today and am planning on throwing them on early tomorrow. Gotta admit while I am very mechanically inclined I am a little nervous as to the outcome. I heard the fronts are a pain and I need to trim the bumps. Any last minute advice and/or tips? I will post pics but I'm sure it will look just like "alabaster white".

NO coil compressor needed I would say this is one of the easiest installs when it comes to springs I have ever done (mind you I used to work with jeep lift kits) it takes some man handling for the fronts and a good pry bar or pickle fork to get the original out but the new springs go in easy as can be. DO not undo everything, I left the caliper still all connected, as well as the shock just undo the A arms if you are mechanically inclined I wouldn't worry about this job at all. I did it in the driveway with one jack stand, a jack, ratchet, pickle fork, and pry bar and took about 2 hours total. Rears take about 15 min a piece front is about 30 min give or take a piece. Some of the threads got cleaned out but I remember posting about this earlier

dont forget to read this thread https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=20830 and

is used the DIY links that basslover gave you. the install was very simple the only problem i ran into was the fronts. the lower control arm gets a little stuck when lowering it down you need a prybar or somthing to pull it down. Youll save alot of time if you have 2 people. took about an 1.5hr for the front and 30mins for the back.

Thanks everyone for the tips, i got it done in a couple hours with no problems...other than losing the little c-clip on the shocks and having to look for it for an hour. Everything went smooth and it looks awesome. I have NO popping or rubbing even under EXTREME turns at 60 MPH. I did notice one problem though. My steering damper is leaking. The dealer wants 150, does anyone have an alternative?

Congrats on the Eibachs. They're pretty amazing aren't they...

Now you need to post some photos in your Gallery.

Chryslerpartsdirect.com is a really good place to buy from. Really good prices too. Attached is the price for your dampner.
