Greetings from Texas,
New member here and my 1st post (so be gentle)
I am installing the rotex pads today. Wisely choosing to follow the advice (brake grease-anti squeal over night-rotors cut-) of those before me. I wanted to say thanks to all those sharing their know how here. It's helped tremendously since discovering it. So thanks guys.
About that anti squeal. There is a web with a helpful 1 min video on the subject. Guy talks a little... slow but filming is good. ehow is the site-type in antisqueal lube or.....
http://www.ehow.com/video_2328351_an...rake-lube.html
Really hope this helps. I'll be wrenching on my profile next.

umm...hmmmm yes, yes.
Prior to the hallmark of our brake pad changing "How to and tools needed " (authors noted) There was a question posed about anti-squeal lube, brake grease, disc brake quiet and the location of application. My reply or rather polite contribution was intentended for those just as myself exploring knowledge and finding the body of information crucial yet lacking in simple specifics.
My post simply fills in the gaps I found while enjoying the forum. Thus, "about that anti squeal lube"
