Welcome to the club. The car is a real blast as you probably already know. The SC (supercharger) does not use a pop-off valve. There are a number of modifications that will add additional hp. Main mods include replacement SC pulley (smaller) and/or drive pulley (larger), phenolic spacers, IC pump, front Intercooler mods, CAI kits, Y tube replacement (MB SL55) and grill mods. All these things are very well documented here and also on the M-Benz site under SLK32 AMG. This car is after all, a lot more MB than Chrysler. Brake dust from original OEM pads is a problem. There are threads that talk about different pad alternatives. And if your car has a NAV system, well, just keep on waiting for an updated CD for this (won't ever happen).

Enjoy the ride. You will find many friends and answers here.

Three biggest improvements are;

1. Let it breathe..CAI or SL55 intake..Needwings, TVT, others
2. Pulley upgrade...crank or SC...Code3 SC. ASP, LET, others for Crank.
3. ECU tune....LET or InMotion

Have fun.

Ha I almost bought that SRT-6 assuming its the one in your avatar. I test drove it and it rode pretty nice. Be careful going up driveways in that thing! lol Its tricky with it being lowered with bigger wheels but I'm sure you have figured that out already lol.

Welcome to the forum!
No blow off valves here. Leave those behind with your old Honda buddies. A LOT of information on this forum. Take the time to look around and if you can't find what you are looking for then "SEARCH"!
And if you were wondering, NO you can't just drop a 6 speed into the SRT no matter how many times you ask! (inside joke).

do a search on this forum for the member goodenough that was the first owner, they sold it last year to somebody else and then shortly after it appeared where you bought it from. I did a little research when I was looking at the car lol But I could never find out what happened or why the last owner got rid of it so I did not go any further. The dealer knew nothing about the cars history and that bothered me lol.
