Cool 275 Rears

Just fitted Bridgestone Potenza 275x35x19's on back after seeing this size fitted to quite a few UK Crossfires recently. They seem to be very well suited to stock rims. Must say, very impressed. Is this size a popular replacement in USA?

Some are stretching the 285 or 295's onto their wheels. I was going to put the 285/35-19 on mine but I got that steal on the Michelin Pilot PS2 255/35ZR19 from Costo. Too good a deal at $115 each. Maybe next set.

I thought about the 275 when I bought my new F1s. I really wanted to see them in person mounted on a rim. After some thought, I stuck with the stock 255. What I really wanted was a 40 series tire for the rear in the 255. The All Season wasn't available in that size. I think the extra sidewall would have helped the ride.

Steve, I would like to see some pics if possible. I will have something to keep in mind for my next set!

When the time comes for new rear tires I will have the 275/35/19 put on. I have wider aftermarket wheels (9.5" wheel width) and the additional .8 inch wider tire will be just right. Can you post a photo? I'm curious how they look with the stock wheels.
