18's all around
Are there any issues with putting stock 18's on the back instead of 19's? Will this effect the speedometer or odometer at all?
Was thinking of getting two stock 18's to put blizzaks on or just in general to have a solution to get tires rotated so that they last longer than 18k miles, which my last 2 sets of Continentals lasted. I just basically commute 50 miles a day highway. They should last longer than that IMO. |
Re: 18's all around
Your speedometer will be off with 18" tires if you don't use one that's the same height or diameter as the 19"s. Which is about 26".

Re: 18's all around
the correct fitment would be 255-40-18. hope that helps.
255-35-19 = 26.03 255-40-18 = 26.03 |
Re: 18's all around
But that still eliminates the ability to rotate front to rear.

Re: 18's all around
I understand that putting 18" all around is fine, no problems.

Re: 18's all around
You could put 17'' rims all around as long as the offests were good and the OD of the tires was at or near OEM.

p.s. i am runn 255/40/18 all the way around. |

Re: 18's all around
Note his correction in post above..... he is using 225/40/18... I believe that 255/40 in front would have rubbing problems....
