Max, Speaking of tires are you still happy with the Falken's after putting a few miles on them? Would be curious as to how they compare with the Continentals as far as road noise and tread wear? I'm still procrastinating here. (grin)

Bill,
Hi!

1,200 miles and very happy. Tread wear is too early too tell, but the Conti SportContact Touring were on the rear wear bars at 18,000. I didn't do it, I swear! Musta' been the "Chrysler Exec." it was leased to.

Ride is better and they are very quiet. Did very well at The Dragon a couple of weeks ago, so I have to give them a "Thumbs Up"!

Well I suspect all I'll get out of my Conti's is around 18,000 also. I bought the car last April with 11,000 and have sense put an other 4,000 on her(wear bars close in sight). After reading your review and a thousand others I think I'll be putting the 452 Falkens on her soon!
Thanks
Bill,

Better than 24,000 miles on my Contis, expect to get at least another 20,000 out of them. They look like new.

I'd bet lunch on it that AIG bought his car used with 18,000 or so on it and the dealer or previous owner installed a new pair just prier? Just a guess!

You are probably correct! I didn't think of that. Not a new development.

Bought the car with 9775 miles on in 14 months ago. Put nearly 15,000 miles on it since I got it. You're welcome to come and check them out.

Not to offend-I just think that it's remarkable that anyone could get that kind of wear out of those tires. They are notorious for early death.

Well, I don't drive it like a nut so I rarely leave rubber on the road and last night when I did floor it to make a left turn in front of someone the damn traction control kicked in and it seemed like it nearly stalled the car. Maybe I'll have to drive with it off.

Let me get this straight....are you saying you have 24k on your conti's and expect to get another 20k out of them? I don't drive like a "nut" either, but I've not even got 20K on mine and the rears are in need of replacement....what kind of roads are you driving on.

The worst roads in Brooklyn and the ones out in Long Island aren't the best either but I'm getting great wear on them. And I drive the car all year around though they don't seem to work too well in the snow even though they're all season tires. But at least half my driving is highway so maybe that has something to do with it.

Had to replace my fronts today at 17,000 miles.....outer treads gone....will have to get alignment at a Chrysler dealership (Tires Plus couldn't do it). Total bill for 2 Cooper Zeon Sport A/S W 400s installed came to $362.16. They were manufactured in Aug 08 ...smelled good!! They feel fantastic! Problem is they don't make them (yet?) in the rear size. The rears are wearing evenly & might get another 4-5,000 miles out of them.....I thought the rears had lots of tread left...till I saw how deep the Cooper's were.

Well, even though 2 other dealerships told me the alignment was only covered for the 1st 12 months / 12,000 miles.......I stumbled into another dealership that said 1st alignment is covered during the 3/36K warranty period......I'm happy!!! Saved me >$90.00 . Alignment from factory was WAY OFF! Outer treads on fronts were gone at 17K miles.
