Nakang?
Hey Folks,
My tired just hit a nail and the local tire shop has some 255/35/19 Nakang's. They could order better tires but it will take a week or more. Should I put the Nakangs on in the mean time? How long do Nakangs last? Or are they pieces of crap? Thanks, |
Re: Nakang?
You might be able to find out with a Google search for "Nankang tires review".
It's worked for me in the past. |
Re: Nakang?

Cheapies. For rickshaws.

Re: Nakang?
Nankang tires [ns-2] are summer tires with a mud and snow rating. They are made by the oldest and lagest tire co. in Taiwan. They are very good tires and the Ausies swear by them. They ride much quieter and are less prone to bumps etc. I have them on all four and have driven 5,000 miles with no problems and very little wear. They stick much better than the Conti's but will probably give you less wear. I got 30k out of the Conti's and expect 25k from the Nankangs. For the money I doubt if there is a better tire out there.

Re: Nakang?
depending on the version you get they are either summer only or all season performance tires. they are cheap but not too shabby. they grip about average, are quiet and do good in the rain.

Re: Nakang?
I have been running the nakang's on my rear for the past 4 months (all season).
They may be a little noisier then the Conti's but they grip very well and they were far less expensive. They do flat spot when sitting for a few days but go back to round after a few miles. All in all I am pleased. |
