Brake noises

Earlier this year i replaced my stock brakes with rotex gold on the front and disc italia on the rears. the rotors were all resurfaced and the no-screech lube was applied. The brakes were then bedded. (which seemed to work for a couple of weeks and then the noises came back.

the brakes make an obnoxious whine/screech everytime i stop in traffic and not so much under heavy breeaking conditions.

what can i do to fix this?

Re: Brake noises

The squeal is from the pads and rotors vibrating against each other. You had brake lube applied to the pads. In my experience the lube will work for a while whereas silicone will last longer. I'm not at home so I don't have the product name of the stuff I use, but it works. I'll try to remember to check when I get home and will post it. Buy it at Autozone, it' red and as you go in the store it's on your right on the chemical wall. (that's assuming your AZ is setup like most.
