tie rod ends and linkage assembly
Has anyone had to replace the entire assembly?
If so do you know if it is the same part fromt he slk32?
Lemforder was the oem supplier for mb and carquest can get that part for 255.00...local chrysler dealer wants over 400.00

They should be the same. You can buy just the ends if that's all you need. Chrysler only sells the whole assembly so they can screw you for every last penny they can get before they go under.

Cant find anyone to cross reference, no one seems to carry one for the crossfire other than the dealer.

Not really Chrysler, its the old MB design. But one of the items Chrysler was able to improve was handlings/steering response and that may have come by way of this part being modified.

Well my gut feelings against the dealers claim it was the tierod issue for the come and go vibrations turned out to be correct.
While I had no pulsing from the brake rotors or any issues sreaming out to me to do the work other than passing 100,000 miles on the original rotors, a change of pads and rotors and the vibration is gone!
