I put some of those Advance Auto Store type air pressure monitors that you put on over your valves that show green when the pressure is 32 and 34 pounds per inch also. Well, I had the same problem as Nightrider it snapped off my valve so only the needle shows with no thread on fill valve around it. Pain in the wazoo to fill but holds pressure (Attachment shows damage and Advance Auto Store monitor since poop canned)

Can just replace the threaded part or does the whole TPMS unit need replacing? It seems to thread into the unit...sorry so dirty...Guys usually like dirty pics. :p Oh yeah, the low tire pressure lihgt goes on when I let air out and goes off when I fill it.

Wow, that is pretty serious....but, looking at pic one I have a recommendation that just might work. Buy some good quality (brass) valve stem extensions (the shortest ones you can find), install them, and then put a cap on the extension. While not exactly visually appealing, it is better than what you have now.

And, please, never buy that cheap mickey mouse crap again!!!;)

Hey Nightrider long time!!! Gerry Owens! I settled with the VA thanks sooo much for getting me thru that maze and putting me in touch with right people. Its great that the vets have some one like on their side.

Anyhow I had a valve stem put in and covered the light with electrical tape. Works perfect and only $10.

Million thanks to all you on here..hugs to all.
