I put KYB's on mine, not a fan. Ride was better with the OEM shocks.

THe old ones.

I put KYB non-adjustables on the Graphite - it ruined how the car handled. And I can't remember who, but someone else heard me say that and responded, "Same here, big mistake".

I should have never replaced the shocks. On the UP side, a girl pulled in front of me and that car was destroyed less than four months after I put the lousy shocks on.

Maybe the adjustable KYBs would be good. Kinda depends on how you drive and what you expect, I take curves hard (I get around 17,000 to 21,000 on a set of Hankooks). If you drive very gently, you might like the KYBs. But if you drive the car like a SPORTS car, do not buy them.

I used the Bilstein OE replacements for an SLK320 and have been very pleased with them. I think it's Model B4. No difference from factory performance that I can tell, although I don't race or really push the car hard.

I've always had good success with Bilstein shocks.

Well since there seems to be a shortage of Bilstein shocks in stock, I am going towards the KYBs since I have used them in my Shelby Z and it made a difference in handling for real!.

I would consider new front springs if there's a problem due to the extra weight of the v-8

KYB's work well on my Sportster and I do a mix bag of driving and I live in Northern Kentucky so curvy roads are every where, our newest Coupe just got KYBs installed with new front Springs so we shall see if there any differences in handling.

If you haven't yet a new steering stabilizer will help if the old one is worn out

One of the first things I replaced on both my Coupe and Roadster.

Has anybody put SLK shocks on their XF? Are there any issues?

Bilstein B6 carries a different part number and the lower mount appears to be painted yellow instead of left black. Is there any difference at all in the fitment? Are they tuned differently in any meaningful way?

The SLK version is slightly cheaper, and I'd rather not spend extra if they are essentially the same.

I know most parts in the chassis and drive train are directly swappable. One difference I found straight off was the air filter.
