Front Shock Bumps Stops?
I've pretty much read every thread on lowering that the forum archives contain and I havent found any that speak of the front bump stops. From what I read SRT's dont have front bump stops but when I installed my springs and shocks they definitly did. I feel like I'm either going crazy and I just cut the wrong thing or my car is different. Anybody else run into front bump stops when they changed their shocks and springs or am I special and if they did have em do you have to cut them as well?... I cut them anyway figuring I had to but that might be what is contributing to the weird popping noise I'm geting from the front.

Yep, the SRT's have bumpstops on the front and rear. The directions in the Eibach box say you don't need to cut them on the front shocks with their springs. The shop that installed the springs told me my car didn't even have them. I had to tell them where to find them ........ but when I finally got around to cutting them myself on the rear, it was obvious that they hadn't touched once in their entire lives. The front ones are still whole.
I would guess that a popping noise is something loose or a missing rubber. Re torque everything that was loosened. One of my rear Koni shocks makes a squishy fluid sound, but i bought them used. They work fine, they just make that fluid rushing back and forth noise.

Thanks guys that cleared up my confusion. You think there would be any ill effects from cutting the front bump stops? And I'm gonna go check today to see if anything is loose, I'm hoping its something as simple as that.
