Well there's your problem...

Had a tire fail yesterday morning around 5am headed home from the Twilight premier.. in the ghetto. Had to creep back to my buddies at 10mph through south and west atlanta

Can't really complain, tires were installed may 9th and have seen somewhere around 4k miles (a record, except for the oem tires) and surprisingly, given the amount of camber I run, the tires wear pretty evenly and predictably.

bridgestone re050a's

toasted

The cure, Nitto NT-05's. I picked these up for a song from my buddies @ Gran Turismo East. take-offs that have around 9/32nds left, only 40 bucks. I've wanted to run a set of these for awhile but didnt want to fork out $$

So far I love them, have about 200miles on them. Super sticky and grippy. I'm curious to see how these wear camber-wise compared to the re050a's

That Camber is quite negative do you have any room in the fender to use adjustible arms to take some of that out,,, Just wondering I noticed your car is probably one of the lowest I have seen besides the 6 on Bags ,,,,,,, I really like the look but I don't think I could stand the negative Cmbr . and I know my wallet couldn't ,,,, I have a set of Nitto's 555" on the rear of my car that I purchased off of a forum member with about 8/32 and they have held up really well considering I don't cut them any slack,,, I had a set of General Xclaims and they didn't last 10,000 miles , will not be running anymore of themmm.... Good luck with the nitto's,,

I do have room for arms to take out camber. Im so low I don't believe the arms that are out already have enough adjustment. I have some drawn up in solidworks that Im going to have the machine shop I used to work at build.

The thing with the front is that the bolts dont do jack for camber adjustment. We need an adjustable front upper control arm, which is something I'm working on as well, just slow going with my injury.

Because of the work I do with Southeast Drift, a lot of guys give us staff members hook ups and good deals. I normally just pay for mounting and balancing with my tires that GTE gives me, but if I want something, like these nt-05s or some pilot sports, normally pay 40-50 per tire mounted and balanced. Keeps the wallet full vs/ buying new tires every month

Don't be offended, I am just trying to get my head around this.

Were the two girls you had in the x-fire as bald as your tires?

SO i put about 100 more miles on the nt-05s today.

Super grippy and sticky, I can pick up change off the road with them, lol.
2 things I found out... They are incredibly loud, at 80mph with the windows up they drown out my straight pipe and the radio... but that doesnt bother me because I have my windows 99% of the time.

just as I expected, they totally suck in the rain. The compound turns to bricks when cold, not to mention due to the continuous center rib as well as the interlocked shoulder blocks the tire evacuates little to no water.

On damp streets at speeds of 45 and under its not bad, just dont have any grip while making sharp turns or accelerating. In driving rain with standing water, give it up... car ice skates everywhere and has 0 grip. I was expecting this when I got the tires, so it doesnt bug me. Gives me a reason to keep miles low when the weather is bad by driving my truck. Just wanted to see what they were like in the rain.... I found out quick

Infinite I'm reporting this thread. You've done the worst thing you could have ever done, maybe the mods will have mercy on you, but I surely won't.

Never, ever, reference the movie "Driven" ever again. It's an insult to all cart/F1/GP3 and even Indy. I don't think I can ever respect anything you say ever again. What a waiste, you could've been great kid.:p

lol
