So...what's the difference?
hey guys
Im about to buy a full set of srt wheels for my limited and on every website i see two type of wheels, they have the MACHINED WITH SILVER VENTS and the DARK CHARCOAL MACHINED, but they dont have actual pictures to see the difference. Do any of you guys have some pictures of each so i can actually decide which one i want? thanks guys |

This is what the charcoal painted wheels look like. Do a search in the gallery for srt6 wheels and you'll find some pics of both wheels.

Re: So...whats the difference?
If I am following correctly, I think I get what they are describing...
The SRT has the same wheels as the special edition roadster, but the sides of the spokes and barrel of the wheel are painted charcoal on the SE IIRC where as the SRTs are all silver. Search for pics of a special edition roadster here and you will see what I am talking about. |

Re: So...whats the difference?
guys... one other thing....
I saw this webpage automotix.com where they sell these remanufactured srt wheels starting at $111. Are these wheels as resistant as the factory ones? Why are they so cheap? Where is the rip-off?? Im like one click away from purchasing the full set.... so i wanna be sure this is the right path to go.. |

The downside is that you'll have to be careful what type of cleaner you use since there are clear-coat painted surfaces to deal with.
Personally, the Special Edition wheel is better looking. Joe Greenwood Baton Rouge roadster |
