Default Sway bracket broke, advice?

Had a new pop noise show up in the rear this week. Figured I blew out another heim but turns out I have the dreaded sway bracket crack. Driver side is holding on by a thread at the front but rest is just hanging down.

From previous threads the fix is to weld it back on but people have reported anywhere from $150 bucks to $2000 for the fix.

Just looking for advice on how to approach it. Should I remove the links and just let it hang for now so no further damage occurs while I look for a shop? What's a reasonable price or is there anything specific I should ask/instruct.

Thanks as always for the help!

Is it the sway bar links or the brackets? I've found metal links on rockauto about a year ago for $30 with shipping. Still solid after racing for almost a year now.

It's the bracket that is welded to the body

Well good news is I was able to get the bracket welded back together yesterday and all is good ($175) bad news is I got my front end taken off today so I didn't even get to take any photos of the job. No airbags or anything so there might still be hope but it was not pretty, lots of fluid and oil.

Yep, accident. Will have to wait for next week to start getting things sorted out.
