I bought my car this summer, second owner, 42k when I got it. She is in excellent shape but has some curb rash on the rims. I have yet to see an aftermarket rim that appeals to me and to be honest would like to keep her stock looking. I have seen reproduced rims on ebay and the like for a couple hundred per rim.
Has anyone purchased rims like these? I am concerned about quality, trueness, etc. Would keep the original rims in storage just to keep her true. Would appreciate any feedback if anyone has bought these rims. Thanks

 

had to replace an OEM that got a 1/2" bolt through it and the tire.. around $219 or so from Ebay.. been about a year now.. finish is still great.. no balance issues or otherwise.. probably about 30k on it so far. Was a Chinese made rim..

 

Check for a wheel repair company in your area. Curb rash is an easy fix for a reputable shop. Around here it runs about $70 a wheel with all new paint.

 

Yeah, seeing James' wheels with that lowered look makes me want a set.
