Default Thanks Chicago

Cruising with favorite girl along Lakeshore drive on Saturday and hit a nasty pothole. Didn't notice the tire damage til we got home. There's a good sized hickie on the front passenger tire's side wall And the tire is split at rim. The rim doesn't appear to be damaged. Now I'm searching for a replacement. I don't want a set different from the rear. The tires are BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW 225-40-ZR 18. Anyone have a set of 18's they can donate to my charity? And how would the car handle with a different pair of shoes than rear?

Damn Steve that sucks !!!!
I hope the rim isn't bent too
Be sure to have the tire shop spin the wheel on the wheel balance machine to look for damage BEFORE mounting the new tire.
These rims often get a flat spot on the inner dish behind to 7 spoke structure.
It is easily visible and if it is out of round you will have abnormal wear on the new tire as well as a possible vibration.

Let us know the outcome

Make sure you file a claim with the city. They may take a while, but they will pay.
