Exclamation Suggestions for snow tires

Does anyone have a good experience with snow tires? And where did you order them from???? I called our local Goodyear store and they laughed at me...they don't carry the size I need.

This car is a sled in the winter ... be careful driving!!!!

My tire guy ordered Dunlop 19 inch snow tires and Perilli (sp) 18 inch for the front. I could not get the same Dunlops fo the front because when tire rack received them, they had no DOT stamp on them and would not fill my order. The tread does not match but are close enough to not bother me. I am waiting for our first good snow and will report on how well they work. They do however do very well on dry pavement and seem to hold the corners without much roll. I have the Pilots as my regular good weather tires.

nokian hakkepellita tires-they are made in switzerland i believe so they know all about snow. had a set on a convertible jag i drove for a winter in iowa with no problems. dave at etires.com can fix you up. they are cheaper than blizzaks too.

It won't be raining tomorrow! I hear 6-12" for everywhere between mid-Ohio and lower-Michigan.

I live near Montreal Canada where we have a lot of snow and freezing temperature.

Continental tires makes Conti Winter in original sizes for our car. So far, I have driven nearly 3000 mile on them and I only had trouble one day when we received approx 8 inches of snow and the snowplow had not yet cleared our street. I still managed to get home shutting off the antiskid. The car was then acting just like the Mustang Cobra I had a few years back.
