Default Quick question on front tire size

Hi Guys, so after reading through many posts I am a little confused as to what the max tire size is that I can fit on the front of my srt with stock rims. I’ve read that 235/40’s will fit with not issues but I came across a post that says a spacer is needed. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Collin

I had a credit card's worth of clearance with 235's on the stock front rim. For cruising you may or may not be fine. I was nervous about it and purchased a 5mm spacer and longer lugs.

Oh yeah that’s really tight. Thinking of going 225 for the front and 275 for the rear. It seems that 275 will fit no problem on the stock rim, at least hoping. Thanks for the input Les!
