Default Brake Pads / Rotors Life

For those with significant miles (25,000+), has anyone replaced pads and/or rotors? Does anyone know the expected life from both pads and rotors. I have 35,000 on a coupe, feel that my pads might be getting a little mushy.

if you must change the pads...it would be a great time to opt for a dust-free brake pad.

i recommend "rotex gold" pads. many others on the board use them as well.
