Default Squeaky Brakes

So about 2 months ago i put Rotex Gold brakes on my car. For about 2-3 weeks everything was fine but then they started to squeak and never stopped. They squeak about 95% of the time. Does anyone else have this problem?

Default Re: Squeaky Brakes

I installed Rotex Gold about 4 days ago. Typically, replacement brake pads come with a package of silicone adhesive compound that you apply to the back side of the brake pads. This compound prevents the brakes from vibrating against the calipers which causes the squeaking sound you hear. I installed the brakes without the compound and just yesterday noticed the brakes beginning to squeal. I removed the pads and applied some "De-Squeal" (can be purchased at most auto parts stores) and haven't heard any noise since.
