Default 2006 XF NA Rear Suspension Question

Noticed my '06 XF seems riding rougher in the rear. I seem to remember some mention of a pump in the rear trunk doing "something or other!" I've searched around the web and unable to find anything. Was I having a dream or was it just plain old brain fog? Maybe, without checking, might be shocks or springs. Inquiring mind wants to know!

the pump in the trunk right side below the black Styrofoam works the locks, doors and trunk and if u ever had or have a water leak (rain)
it will short out and screw up everything, we Most of us remove the body plug in the bottom below the pump.
the only thing to change the ride is shocks, springs , and or bushings on the control arms. jim

Thanks Jim! You cleared up my "brain fog" and now remember the purpose of the pump! Mine pump works just fine and no leaks. Guess I'll have to pull a wheel or two off and investigate rear suspension to see if there's a problem or not.

Glad to here that your in good heath! Having all the "old man" problems that are seemingly getting worse monthly! When you lose your health you've pretty much lost everything!

Wow! Compared to you, I could be the poster child of a senior in perfect health! I cut my finger, popped a pimple on my nose and scraped my knee. LoL
