WTT - US for Canadian Light Switch Assembly
Hello,
Wanting to trade a US head light switch assembly for a Can version that includes DTRL's.
Willing to pay all shipping costs. Also a trusting individual, willing to ship US one to members in good standing before CAN is sent back to me - car in garage for the winter anyway.
If you have one for sale at a reasonable cost, I would be interested in that as well.
Thanks in advance.
Don't always have easy access to this forum - PM me if you like, but please also send email to ron.williams@shaw.ca.

Hello all,
I finally had time to install the Canadian headlight module - did at the same time I did the stickey ignition fix.
I am wondering if it is normal for all the running lights to come on as soon as the car is started (low beam, side markers, tail lights), I was expecting only the low beams and possible only when not in park. All other functions work (fog, park left, park right, high beam, etc).
Any info is greatly appreciated.

This is the way it works I guess, I just installed a Canadian module in my US car and that is what happened.
With my old manual Crossfire, a Canadian model, the headlights came on when I put it in gear.
Can anyone shed some light (that's punny) on this?
YES.....that's how they work. I never liked the inability to control the lights with that module myself.
I have a spare US switch that I want to dig into but never get to it. Spend too much time on this damn forum
