I am looking for the 3 letters.."S" "F", and "I" for the trunk lettering. The "C" was missing, but I found it in the driveway after washing the car..(Aero Bl). Thanks in advance.

consonants are usually free it’s only chargeable when purchasing vowels
oh wait l, this isn’t Wheel of Fortune
Sorry it’s Sunday and I’m easily confused on Sunday
if one of you oldish farts smiled it was worth it.

That’s an Oldie but Goldie on here, but this old fart laughed.
Every time I wash the car, which is infrequently, I always shake each letter to see if it is loose. This is a good idea and a good habit to follow. Five years ago they were easily available now not so much.
I have a complete set of spares and I will not split it as I know if I get rid of a letter then sure as shooting that will be the letter that fell off my car. I purchased this set along with a bunch of spares from a member here who has not been seen for too long.
I found a "C" while standing on the side of the road bird watching. I put it on my hatch just to make it unique - C C R O S S F I R E ..
I get a lot of comments and questions now..
Anyway, I bought an "S" off ebay. It was expensive but not if you figure it into the cost of keeping the car intact over 30 years. I think I paid about $8..
~ Thanks for the letters Shamrock. I got them yesterday. Thanks to all who responded with letter acquisition ideas also.
~ Not to turn this into a Emblem Letter Application Thread...but now I must study on the best way to remove the old glue without damaging the paint as well as whether to prepare the entire surface at once or prep each letters surface individually so they will line up properly. I'll check the exterior sections threads. Love this forum, hope it never goes away.

GooGone does a good job of getting the old glue off and rubbing alcohol cleans the surfaces for attaching the 3M double sided tape, get the type of tape used by body shops as some of the regular stuff is not quite so strong.

Which 'S' was missing? If it was the first, you could have made the car a 'CROCSFIRE'! Can you imagine how confused everyone would be??? I don't even get paid for these, so pass em on! LOL
