Default oem radio

I recently purchased a 2005 Crossfire Roadster. It has an aftermarket radio which I have grown to dispise. I dearly want to find an oem radio for it. Any suggestions?

I have one too. However, I hghly suggest if your get an OEM, don't get one from an early 2004 that has an LED readout. They are horrible during the day (look good at night). I suggest you make sure it is an LCD readout with backlighting. They changed out the LED's to LCD's mid model year 2004 I believe. Any newer LCD should be fine. Good luck.

If they put in an aftermarket unit, hope that they didn't cut the harness.
If they did not, and the wiring is still in tact, then it i. literally a 10 minute job to install the radio.
You may need a radio removal tool. It bacically pushes in little tabs that are on the side of most radios; that hold them in place. Its a little thin tool that slides in the side of the radio.
There is also a specific / similar tool for the OEM radio. Since you are only installing the OEM radio, you dont really need this. But you won't be able to remove it again.

I think crossfirenewby got carried away moose hunting or whatever Canadians do to kill time. He hasn't been back for almost 2 weeks.

I agree. There is a TSB 08-036-03 on the early first year radios . Don't get an early 2004 radio with a dark background and light characters.
