Default Tpms sensors NEEDED

Ok, I scored a set of stock Crossfire rims and I took them to a wheel chroming place in Bath, Pa to have them done up in "hyper chrome".
I'm not going to use my old tires on these fresh chrome wheels, so I need to find a set of TPMS sensors .
I really don't care if they actually work or not, I just need them to hold air.
There's got to be somebody with a set of old ones laying around that doesn't want /need them.
My number is 814-242-4389
Thanks!

Can't you just install regular valves?

I don't know if I can or not....
This is my first Crossfire / Benz, and if I could use regular valve stems I definitely would.
Is there any certain type of valve stems I would need?

You CAN install regular valve stems, but the OEM wheels were designed to have the TPMS sensors.
What this means is that you will have a big ugly clump of stick-on lead weights at the valve stem position after balancing.

I sent you a PM.

Ok, I understand. ...thank you very much for that information. I never even thought about the weight factor. ...=)

If the car came with tire pressure monitors then in some jurisdictions it is illegal to remove them. You can disable the dash light but still .........

Cars like that will fail the safety test if it is found to be lacking them.

PS
It is a Chrysler Crossfire, not a Benz. It may be made using Mercedes parts but you'll be as welcome as a case of the clap on a Mercedes lot.

Tomorrow I am sending him a set of TPMS sensors I no longer need.

The set of SE wheels that I once had ( a SE is a red base roadster with SRT6 style wheels ) had just plain rubber valve stems. I can't guarantee they were OEM though.

Base models did not come with TPMS. It is stated as such in the spec sheet on this forum.

No it not what you said at all, you were not sure so that does not count as stating the actual facts.
