Default Crossfires in Alberta and Western Canada

Just wondering how many people have Crossfires in Alberta currently. I see older posts back in 2008 but not many currently in 2012.

Crossfire's Across Alberta #1 ??? Meet in RMH, high speed run on the David Thompson to Sask landing, and the a slow drive north or south to Baniff or Jasper-- after Labor Day.( High speed run on 22 south of Longview would also be a rush with several Crossfire's)

How about a run to Radium in Sept. for their car show? Since my 65 might not be ready, I'll use the XF. Will be running with my son's 58 Olds and Cousins 69 Mach 1 but theres always room for more.

Hello,

New owner in Port Coquitlam, B.C. - just a few minutes outside of Vancouver. My son, also living here, is picking up his from Alberta on Thursday.
It wasn't quite planned this way, but I have the 2004 Black, 6 Speed, Grey leather and 40,000 kms. He is picking up the clone but 2005 with 20,000 kms.
No snide comments, please!
B.

I, too, have a 1969 Mach 1; I posted about it a few days ago. Unrestored "survivor".

Leather interior question: I know how to detail quite well, but upon reading the Crossfire manual, it quite clearly says NOT to apply cleaner, conditioner to the leather. I get the impression it came 'done', but surely after 8 years, it is okay to apply top, top quality cleaner and conditioner to the leather seats...no??

What is the date of the Radium show?,after the 11th would be great for me, I would probably make a run to the south Okanagan after that

The Radium Car show is the Sept. 15/16th. I believe we'll drive down on the Friday.
On another note, if anyone is interested there is a car cruise coming up on the 28th of July. My son is putting it on. It's about a 12 hour run from the HWY 16 Esso just east of Sherwood Park, coving about 460 kms. Goes to Vegreville, St. Paul, Glendon, etc. and ends in Mundare. Open to all makes and years. I'll take the CrossFire.

Just drove over the Coquihalla Highway to Vancouver. What a hoot in the Crossfire. This car never has to kick down to a lower gear no matter what the hill.
For fun I dropped it into 4th from Drive and you can literally climb the steepest hill as quickly as you want without straining the motor at all. I also carefully logged the gas mileage on the return trip from Calgary to Vancouver and much to my surprise, even with all the hills, it got 35 mpg. That is amazing since I am lucky to break 20 mpg in the City.
