Default Poor decision by Chrysler, Boo!

Have any of you seen the new hood for the 2007 Sebring? It looks similar to the Crossfire hood and I think that was a poor decision. This takes away from the unique look of the head turning Crossfire.

Take a look for yourself:

Just search "Sebring" on this board. The issue has been discussed many times over the past three months or so.

I saw it. I guess DC is capitalizing on the design investment it made on the Crossfire since it didn't yield piles of money for the bean counters.

Its also on the new Chrysler SUV (built on the Dodge Dakota). This is the new "design style" for Chrysler. If anything, it will ensure that the Crossfire will remain fresh for many years, as the inspiration for the new design trend, that and the fact the car will not be revised before production ends.

The Chrysler SUV is called Aspen and is closer to the Dodge Durango SUV than the Dakota Pick-up even if its loosely derived from it.

You are right, it is the Aspen (and it is a rebadged Durango. I should have remembered that, my friend used to have a Durango). I was just too lazy to go on the internet and look. I wouldn't be surprised if they put the grooved hood it on the PT Cruiser soon.
