Default Crossfire Styling Cues Stolen!

http://www.seriouswheels.com/pics-20...-1920x1440.jpg

Check out the strakes behind the front wheel...

[edit] I'm a little embarrassed as a car guy that I said that now... ALL MB SL class cars have them. But the ones on this car look like almost the same part as the Xfire.

Yes, the XF is not nearly the first to use them..check out our MB brothers to see a few examples.

But, imitation is the highest of flattery, nice to see others think its a sharp look.

Although I'll bet that on the AC Schnitzer, the vents are functional!

I see what your sayin' by the stakes go over the cove, not right out of it and btw, the car is photoshopped and looks stupid with that wing. Just my .02 cents worth.

I don't think it is, its off seriouswheels.com, they are press pics of the AC Schnizer M6.

http://www.seriouswheels.com/cars/to...-6--Series.htm

Those definitely are NOT photoshopped.

I agree with Aero Blue, the picture looks very much to be a photo-chopped picture of an AC Schnizer M6. Look at the angle of the front wheel, it doesn't look right and is out of perspective to the rest of the car. Also, the wing looks very much to be an add-on...

Regardless of whether some of the pictures are photoshopped or not, the intent of this post was to draw attention to this:

http://www.seriouswheels.com/2007/20...t-1280x960.htm

Which looks very similar to the crossfire's strakes.

They are probably not copied from the crossfire (of course not), but they look similar, and I thought it would be of interest.
