A Little Tease (just for you Kim)
A Little Tease (just for you Kim)
As many of you know, I recently lost an XF that was very dear to me. I have decided the only thing to do to ease my soul is to create one that is even better. While this is going to take some time and some cash, I have been working on her for about a month now, and will give you some shots of her now, grill-less and some pics leading up to this.
I am sure many people will say, what did he do to it? Everything is incredibly subtle and w/o seeing it in person, I would highly doubt anyone can even notice everything. Let me know what you think so far.....
First one to get all the mods so far, gets a beer (or a little shine ) from me at the next GTG LOL

So far I can see the debadging, the rear wing removal, the front wing Chrysler badge removed, the headlights side markers and taillights smoked, tinted windows, the windshield surround painted (looks awesome) and it looks like some changes to the fog lights.
So far it looks awesome. I cannot wait to see it all completed!

Whoops, I didn't see this thread when I posted in your other thread! Sorry about that and I suppose you can disregard my previous post in the older thread.
What is the official name of the color of this car? I have to say I think I like it better than black. I like the general direction of things, but I can't say I've ever liked tinted headlights. But I look forward to seeing what direction you take everything else. I think the hardest part of modifying the crossfire is choosing wheels the look good and actually fit. I can only assume that you are looking into new wheels, so I look forward to seeing the direction you take.

We are getting closer.
I know its hard to tell, but the surround on the windshield is full CF hydrographics.
I can't believe no one noticed the strakes?
I will post up some more pics of the pieces in progress here in a minute.
And yes, I am getting some rims, but have an entire winter to pick out what I want
Edit: Romio - the rear wings came off in about 5 seconds, I actually had Molly remove them with a little guidance from me. Then it is a little adhesive remover.

CF windshield close up
Painted tail lights with black accent strip
Day 2 at the paint booth
And a peek at the grill, here it is with a turned finish
(Since then it has been sprayed with tinted clear and looks AMAZING)
More to come.... in time
And there is NO VINYL on the car anywhere, everything has been painted.
