Default Valet Key?

Did anyone get a valet key from their dealer? I asked them and they said
that there was NO valet key.

Please let me know if anyone got a valet key.

I too asked the dealer about this, and was told that they don't make valet keys at all (or any other keys other than the little thing-a-ma-jigger you get). This came from the regional parts manager, for what its worth.

There is a key used to set the tumblers in the glove box and door locks but it only turns the motor over for half a second and it quickly dies. They left it behind when they changed out my glove box lock right after I got the car. To start the car, the FOB is required...

Hmm, I was told there is no valet key either. I do want one though. A valet key should allow them to open and start the car, but not get in the locked glove box.
