Default Eurocharged

Hi,

I am going to install my new CAI with the new 74 mm throttle body.
I guess once installed the next step is to get the eurocharged upgrade.. What's the cost of that? Any forum member discounts? Also I've heard of the ecu tune?? Is that only for the srt?
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The ECU tune is the eurocharged tune, for both NA and SRT6, although different tunes.
Current N/A cost is $400, don't see anything about discount, perhaps you should call them :

Perfect thanks for clarifying that.
What's the procedure to reset for the increased air flow from the CAI install and 74mm throttle body? I read it somewhere a ways back..

Throttle body reset.

Keep the key in for the entire process.

1) Turn the key to the on position, the position just before the starter turns over.

2) Press the gas pedal firmly to the floor with the key in the "on" position.

3) Hold the pedal to the floor for five seconds, then turn the key back to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.

4) Wait 2 mins. for a full reset

Summary: Key on, pedal down 5 sec, key off, pedal up, wait 2 minutes.

So after the 2 minute wait, you can take the key out? Or after the 2 minute wait is it best to just start up the engine and be good to go from then on... Also if I were to,disconect the battery in the future.. Do I need to do this procedure again thereafter or once it is reset it keeps that til the next reset?

I do believe disconnecting the battery serves to also reset the TB value just like the reset procedure.

As to the key, your choice, remove it or drive it.

Oh ok... So if I were to remove the battery in the future there would be no need to do the procedure again. As upon the first startup it would automatically do its adjustments...
Thanks for all your prompt info sir.
Have yourself a great day.
I will Post pics on what did you do you xfire today once I install the CAI.. And the hydro dipped Mercedes engine cover..

Send an email to eurocharged and they will potentially give you a deal on the NA tune. Did mine about a month ago for $250. She pulls super hard now in 3rd and 4th gear. Dramatic improvement all around. Feels like she's running 250hp with the throttle body mod, MB engine cover, and eurocharged. Test drove a 2008 V6 Audi A4 the other day and my crossfire feels significantly quicker. Much heavier car of course, but still.

Just remember to remove the NEG cable first. Not only is it SAFER but if I remember right, the alarm goes off if you take the POS cable off first. Just saying!
