Default Anyone use a Mercedes star emblem on your grill?

Was gazing at my BatMobile in the garage while it was raining, and while sitting in front of it on a stool thought how nice a Mercedes
three pointed star would look right in the middle of the grill.

Anyone ever do that?

I am contemplating this one:

I took some measurements from some SLK's sitting on a Benz lot. With some minor modification, it may just work. You can find several different styles on eBay. The only thing stopping me so far is the thought of throwing away $150 if it doesn't work or looks like cr*p. But then again, it may be most beauteous.

I hope this doesn't start into another "Our cars are not Mercedes" discussion...

Now that is fine as wine mate. It would be gorgeous if you could
get it to fit below the Chrysler badge on the hood. Looks like the
hood itself has a notch for that badge. But if you could get that
done I think it would be striking.

I was gonna see if I could go with the Star about that size
alone and try to build a seat of epoxy that would sit right on the
edges of the present grill. I have a real problem with taking my
batmobile apart. But if that one you have will fit it would be quite nice...

Let me know and take some pictures if you decide to do it...

One other thing, I notice my roadster grill comes to a kind of point
in the center, and that one you have looks almost straight across...

Volkswagon Toureg is built in Germany and uses the same platform as the Porsche Cayenne...but it still should NEVER be badged as a Porsche. Upbadging is unacceptable.

No parts on the outside. Put all the peace signs you want all over the engine and drivetrain...just not on the outside.

It depends on one's perspective. If you are a Chrysler fanatic, this would be a case of downbadging. Then it would be acceptable to the badging police.

Srt6 Dan sales MB logos (star) for the front and rear for $35, I just got then in the mail today. You have to remove the chrysler logos and its of very good quality.

Would you please post the installed MB logos after you install them.

I have Dan's Crossfire Logos and they are nice... But I would like to see what the MB logo looks like.

BTW, my Chrysler daaler wants nothing to do with my Crossfire, and I want nothing to do with them.

I think that recent purchasers are going to have one hell of a time collecting on the "lifetime" power train warranty unless Chrysler LLC allows Mercedes dealers to service them.

No perspective needed. Mercedes>Chrysler.

Question Re: Anyone use a Mercedes star emblem on you grill?

Xfire+Maseratti+AMG=???
Well there is a connection with AMG (if you got the SRT-6). But, please, explain what the heck does Maseratti have to do with us?

Does anyone know where I can get a Rolls Royce Flying Lady for my hood? I want to impress people by trying to be something I'm not, too.

My oldest daughter tells me I'm a M-B wannabee. I would have bought an SLK if I wanted one -- but I liked the looks of the CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE better. Period.

I was at a truck stop this weekend and stole the mack truck bulldog off the hood of a 18 wheeler, I plan to mount it on the hood of my srt6 tonight. It should look great, I am going to try and steak the MACK letters off a truck tonight so I can complete the look.

My Yosemite Sam "BACK OFF" mud flaps are on order and should be here by Friday.
