Having Top Half way while working on back window
Having Top Half way while working on back window
Hello im sorry I know this has been discussed before
I am going to be working on the top. for a while
I have left the top on my 2005 roadster half way before while
I was cleaning .... ETC.
WHAT happens if i leave it half way position for like an hour?
I think i heard the hydraulics will depressurize?
Do i have to anything special to start the top again?
Or will. It just work if i hold the top down or up button?
Thank You in advance for any advice...
I love my 2005 roadster but im reluctant to do much to it
As im afraid of messing things up worse
Thank you
~Bill

Re: Having Top Half way while working on back window
Yes, it will depressurize after 20 - 30 minutes.
Nothing special to do, just turn the switch back on and it should resume normal operation.
If you are working on the back window, just leave the top up with the tonneau cover closed and tie a cord from the rear bow latch up over the top to the "D" handle.
it will stay in place like that even when the pressure drops.
