ordered a replacement canister purge valve for srt6 . part shows up , wrong one . searched internet and everyone shows the standard motor products cp492 . but this is not it .

looking for the valve/solenoid that sits on top of the charcoal canister . anyone have a part # or source .

 

The Fuel Vapor Shut Off sits on the canister. Chrysler part 05099407AA, get the Mercedes part though.
Your part number gives me the part I show below, not what you want I guess.

Or do you want the EVAP Purge Valve? Mercedes part# 000 470 35 93.


That is what is on my SRT6, you can read the number on it, also on 99.9% of all the other part numbers on our cars.
The EVAP is under the hood on the driver side inner fender.

that part number is coming up as the hose that goes to the canister . I am looking for the valve that goes on top of the charcoal canister . can find a part number for it .

 

This forum has the parts lists for all the model years. That is where I got the number but I read the wrong line. It should have been 5097697AA.
