I was on my way to work the other day. I'd been out running errands and such so it wasn't my normal grind of slow and slower on the I-10 parking lot.

I come up on this car that has a bunch of decals and such. I really didn't pay much attention to it at first other than it was going slower than I was.

Someone has taken a Yugo, yup - you read correctly, a Yugo and added racing strips, a logo (Underdog Racing), a number, etc. I drove up next to him and saw he had the 3 point harness and the modified guages on the dash (especially the big clock tac). Don't know what else, as I was in some traffic.

It gave me a good chuckle on the way to the office. I can't really say if it was a serious car, since I was doing the speed limit and passed it easily.

There was a guy in New Jersey where I used to live that had two Yugos with that underdog racing decal.
One was red, can't remember the other one. Wonder if that was him. He also used to have a bunch of old Ramblers on his property too.
