Battle Royale 3/3
Re: Battle Royale 3/3
And nobody wont let off
Re: Battle Royale 3/3
from what i can see you jumped the start on every race except the last one.
No jumped at all. There is several people controlling. The torque is 90 % at 1680 rpm. Just have to touch the pedal
as for speeds I'm guessing your racing 1/8 mile there but racing into a curve on a drag car is just nuts.
The bmw did not want to let of. He did not want lose to a hairdressers car. A curve with the SLK32 with Hoosier DR on high Pressure is no problem. BMW on Bias Ply is another story. Scary. And you are right. That is crazy.
car looks fairly fast what are the mods?
A lot. 26.1 psi Intake Manifold, 665 fuel injectors@55.1 psi. Duty cycle 90 - 92.
Autronic SM4
No nitrous oxide
and not ready yet

Re: Battle Royale 3/3
Damn, that's a lot of power for a 3.2 running no nitrous or turbo. Actually, it's almost fantastical, like a unicorn. Regardless, cudos to another racer that beats up on a lot of fast cars. Yes, you had a few very quick starts, but I wasn't there and you weren't disqualified. That being the case, you get the benefit of doubt from me, even though I also felt you jumped on three of them.
By the way, what mods do you have and can you post up some photos of the engine?
Here's one of my slower runs, but I think we'd make for a good race. I think I'm likely around 500HP to the wheels.

That is a beatiful car and a nice race.
Actually, i dont know my cars hp.
But I got your attention when i told you that i have 529 whp.
But its not hard to calculate if i use 92 % of the fuel injectors.
That is 665cc@55.1 psi and the manifold pressure is 1,75 bar = 25.375 psi on third gear, and 1.8 bar = 26.1 psi on fourth gear.
I always log my race with my Dashdaq, and with 1.594 = 23.113 psi bar i run 101 - 102 mph@1/8 mile. On the Street.
I think the 60 foot is poorly on the street. There is some difference between street race and a prep track.
Now i am running 1,75 bar = 25,375 psi, @third gear.
How many hp do you think i need to beat a 2424 lbs BMW with 700 - 750 hp whp on the Street
Re: Battle Royale 3/3
IAT is a problem that i have to fix.
+ - 140 f. At a race. Available horsepower to get back there
Time for Top Mounted Intercooler, and shift gear earlier.
Character of the engine has completely changed.
My max pressure is between 5000 rpm and 5800 rpm.
And my rev limiter is 6500 rpm.
Over 5900 rpm the S/C only produces hot air.
OEM Intercooler can not handle the heat.
It means I can raise the pressure a bit to, and dont kill the S/C.
I am still on pump fuel. Time for E85 perhaps.
My friend, with a SL55, is constructing Top Mounted Intercooler.
If the result is good, i will do the same. Or E85

Re: Battle Royale 3/3
Hi Guran,
We have to race some time. My car is now finnished and I'm really curious if I have a chance to beat you
Maybe you want to join us to Sundsvall 28:th of May?

Re: Battle Royale 3/3
Street Race and a prep strip is total difference.
This was just a comparison and what you think i need
in hp, to beat a bmw on the street.
And you see what happened in the Video.
And I dont have 1000 hp in my car
As you see in the Video, there is a big problem to hook up.
No grip against the Blue Volvo.
Re: Battle Royale 3/3
There is StreetRace every weekend this Summer.
I have all the date.
Whats in Sundsvall 28/5
You need at least Hoosier or M/T to beat me
