They look good.

Consider posting a couple more pics that focus on the rims on your Xfire. The one pic looks good, but it is at an angle. Not sure it does the rims/car justice.

I'm not a big fan of full face wheels with a million spokes on them. I like 5-spokes.

I was thinking a set of these AMG wheels would look badas* on an XF and they're only $595 for a staggered 18" set on ebay.

Really nice. Be sure to find out the offset so you can figure out if you will need sapcer. My wheels are 18x8 and 18x9 and required a 10mm spacer in the rear. This is because our stock wheels are 22ET rear and 32 or 35ET front. There are some advatages of using OEM style MB wheels. One is that the wheels have enough clearance in the front for the center caps. MB has a think bearing cap that interferes with many aftermarket wheels which is why many people end up needing front spacers. MB wheels can also be cheaper if you shop around.

I'd like to buy a pair of wheels for the rear of the XFire, in 17" preferably...just for mounting drag radials.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a pair of wheels that will fit the rear of these cars, in 17"?

I assume 17's will clear the brakes?

Thanks,
SQ

These would look cool with slicks! But you will probably want at least a 9 inch wheel. The stock back wheels are ET22 which will probably not find. If you find wheels that are 32 -37 offset you can use hub centric spacers to get the fit right.

Edited: forgot the link:

I would love to get these on my white roadster.

What would I do about the centercaps though?

Would look nice on a Crossfire!

If those are white wheels you would want the matching center caps. You can get generic center caps, i have a set, but they make the wheel look kind of cheap. I switched to all silver Mercedes caps and got so many compliments that I am now running the nicer silver caps with chrome mercedes star.

The offset is good. The fronts will fit with no spacer but you will need 10 or 12mm hub centric spacers on the rear.

I almost bought these for my car. I kind of like the SLR look. If you look around I think you can find these in a more ideal size. An 8 inch wide would be better for the front and a 9 -9.5 would be better for the rear, but yes these could work. You would need about a 10mm spacer for the rear.

ShawnQ,

Go with a 16" and both BFGoodrich and Hoosier tire make 255/50-16 Drag Radials. If you use a tire calculator they have the overall same dimensions as the 19" rears. You can find Nitto's have 19" drag radials but they are a small fortune. I hear the hoosiers have the softest compound of the three brands. Most these tires brand new only have 6/32 of tread. Forget about TPMS.
