Rolled fenders or wide body on front?
Re: Rolled fenders or wide body on front?
My front & rear fenders are rolled. Our front fenders are pretty straightforward when it comes to fender rolling. The rears on the other hand required some finesse from a very choice shop in my area. But comparing a widebody setup to rolled fenders is pretty apples to oranges, because rolling you fenders frees up a little bit of space but nothing like that of a widebody setup.
Re: Rolled fenders or wide body on front?
The widest you can go and still fit under the front fender is a 245 and even then you have to roll and pull them … a lot. Not to mention figuring out the correct offset to do it. (30mm) If your at stock height with a stiff suspension you can go wider with the tires extending beyond the fenders. I've been reluctant to cut and put flairs on the front. To be truthful, getting the power down early has been more of an issue than the front pushing. I'm running 245/35/18 Hoosier R7 front and 275/35/18 Hoosier R-7 rear. The new 245 Hoosier is almost as wide as a 275. What you should do is get some spare front fenders and hack away.
