The transmission will not work properly until those original faults are cleared from the TCU, especially if it's been in permanent limp mode. If the transmission has been playing up for a while, you should also clear all the shift adaptations as well.
Totally agree! Ref my post #2. Required is a good scan, note all DTC and then clear codes.
