I think the parts car fob can be recognized by your car, but the key and the security chip cannot - the key probably doesn't have enough meat on it to be re-cut, and the chip is a one time programmable eprom. You can buy a blank key on ebay for a few dollars, I believe the size is H64, and you can buy the programmable chip for a couple of bucks (I bought 10 for about $20, I don't remember the part number). The problem is finding a locksmith who can clone your key for a reasonable price.
