Well it’s been almost a month since my last post. Based on the learning experience from making the aluminum scatter shield I built one using stainless steel. It’s quite a bit stiffer than the aluminum version. After a few baseline drives with the stock SC pulley I swapped in the steel 65 mm pulley (thanks fastfred!). I then installed the slightly used PSK kit (thanks AMX1397!). I altered the PSK bracket by installing a solid 3/8-16 x M6-1.0 insert for the makeup tube support clamp. Allows use of the factory attach hardware.
Also, I made a combination support bracket for both the scatter shield hoop and the forward engine cover mounting point. Wife wanted the engine bay to look all stock.
Next up MSS TCU and ECU tunes.
