Don't know if this would be something you would want to do but I have a friend who wanted his Crossfire to sound a bit louder and bolder.

What he did was take the car to a performance shop and had them install a cut out in front of the muffler that exits on the driver side in front of the rear wheel. Kind of like a lake pipe from the old days. Sounds great, not too loud, and he can cap it off if needed. They did the job for about $150.
