Update . . . my permanent Dipstick mod has been in use for many Years, now without no need of any modification at all. Many's Quebec Province roads are in pretty bad shape if compare to nearby Us States roads, and no hard bump ran over or potholes in the roads in all that time has never displaced the dipstick from the driving position that prevent the plastic dipstick end from touching the bottom of the transmission pan.
