After removing the old gas and cycling new gas thru the fuel line and into a cup, we were surprised to see no residue. By the time we were done, the gas coming thru was clear, so that was promising. New battery obviously was put in and husband decided to try starting it up. Sounded great, all things considered. Let it run for about 10 seconds.
