Upper radiator hose sprung a pin-hole leak on me this weekend. Already have a part number for replacing (A 170 501 28 82), but I figured, I'm pretty heavy with the throttle, so maybe I should look into something a little more high-performance? Problem is I can't find anywhere that sells A/M silicone hoses for the SRT-6, or even the SLK32 AMG for that matter.

Has anyone here had any luck running silicone hoses made for a different MB with the same/similar engine, or even a different make if the hoses are roughly the same shape?
