U may have to move it back and forth a few times before it comes off,,, about 10 years ago i had one stick, so bad i had to use nitrogen
to freeze the shaft and i small torch to heat the bearing, after i got it off i sanded the shaft , i think i took off .00001 thousand ,anyway
from then on i used anti seize on the shaft. jim
Jim you were spot on. Thing drive me crazy. Would not move an inch.
Let it soak with PB Blaster, kept trying and trying and eventually used a gear puller very carefully to get it going.
From there a little heat and it came right off. This was the 65mm IBF Poland aftermarket pulley.

The shaft had all sorts of "corrosion" and gunk on there. I think the bearing leaked and that stuff got heated up and seized the pulley in place.
I have a spare OEM pulley that came with the car and threw that one on there. I sanded the safe with a 2000 fine grit, used parts cleaner on it and got all that stuff off. Should be ok. I used a small amount of grease on the shaft so hoping this won't happen again.

I didn't have enough time but I have a new bearing sitting here. It seems to be the same as OEM NSK bearing.
I just don't have a press and there was not enough time to do the freezer/oven trick. I might just take the pulley and bearing to a machine shop and see if they can press it in for me sometime this week.

I am curious kind of to try it myself and see if 8 hours in the freezer and 45 mins in the oven would make this pulley really fall in that easily or if you still have to hammer it down.

Thanks for your help!
