Borrowing from a few other member's ideas, I'm adding to the "For those who" series with one for tanks.
I've loved tanks since I was about six years old. My father was a loader on the M48 Patton tank in the 1950s with the 50th Armored division the "Jersey Blues".
I would later follow in his footsteps and become a driver of the M60A3 Patton in the early 1980s. I served with the 1st Armored Division "Old Ironsides".
The first tank is not my favorite, but is the actual tank that I drove. This picture was taken by me at Camp Pitman, which was on the border of West Germany and Czechoslovakia in 1984.
